Chemin de fer de la Mure

Grenoble is an extremely flat piece of land, but surrounded all around by mountains. We took a train ride along the mountain path to breathe in the beautiful scenery up close!

We got off on the wrong stop and had to walk back a few hundred metres.

The animateur or guide was telling us some strange story about dragons which I didn't quite get.


et voila! The mystical dragon of La Mure.


















Some of the mountains have snow caps all year round!
