Geneva
Off to the land of chocolates, watches and diplomacy!
Our first stop was a photo exhibition of wars taking place around the world.
"Our World at War"
Quite a sombering start to the day, but well worth it.
One of many Chocolatiers in the city. There was a little factory inside which we'd wanted to visit but didn't know we had to make prior reservations for a visit.
Godiva hot chocolate. oh god....
All cities have a Vieille Ville, meaning Old City.
L'Hôtel de Ville, where the Geneva Conventions were signed.
A busker by the famous Jet d'Eau, at Lake Geneva. The Jet d'Eau is one of the tallest fountains in the world, jetting water up to 140m high.
The United Nations Office.
Palace of Nations - The headquarters of the former League of Nations and now the United Nations Office in Geneva.
The Broken Chair at the Place des Nations, a symbol to represent anti-cluster bombs and landmines.
Waiting under the blazing sun for an hour to get in.
"Ma vie est mon message" My life is my message.
"Bout-du-monde!" This bus might take us to the end of the world!
Back in Grenoble at our favourite Fajitas joint.
